May 2017 to December 2017.

Rouge One should still be on schedule for this year.

It's a straight rip of ANH. If you liked that, which most of us did, you'll like this. Y'all are confusing valid criticism of rehashing the same story exactly and hating. Which is understandable, if you have blinders on.

He screwed him because if rian copies ESB like JJ did ANH the critics will rip the trilogy for being just a remake and having no originality. He also left him with a ton of story telling to do because regardless of what y'all think, the majority of movie goers have no knowledge of the novels so there are plot points galore that need to be elaborated on. It's no surprise it got pushed back, rian knows he has work to do.

I'm glad Rian Johnson is left to do that because one of his best qualities as a director is his world building skills like Looper.

@The ADD @2 Up 2 Down @H.J.Duck @THASTUNNA @Makavalli

If I had to say who Del Toro is playing I would honestly say this. This could be really dope.

It just doesn't make sense to me. They are currently writing the Ezra arch now relative to the new trilogy. They have made him continuously powerful as the series has moved along. I find it hard to believe that someone one that powerful was totally dormant in the movies. At this point he would be more powerful than Kylo based off training. Why have would he take a back seat to him.

Ezra being Snoke makes more sense in my mind.

Because he's not a Skywalker. It's like with Mace and the other council members in the PT when you have Anakin. They can be extremely powerful while not being quite Skywalker level.

Ezra vs a more trained Kylo at the end of Episode 8? :wow:

I'm hoping they make Del Toro play Thrawn.
Before they start announcing who playing who and details of the plot I'm going to start avoiding star wars threads so I'm can go in blind like I did with 7
Given all the hints to Legends in the Rebels trailer, that could definitely be the case :wow:

You are misunderstanding my point.

Someone that powerful wouldn't just lay low and not be in the mix.

Can't you apply that same criticism to Ezra as Snoke?

If Ezra is a KOR he may have found Snoke and has been training with him in the Unknown Regions.

Depends

Snoke was in hiding for two possible reason (my theory):

He wasn't force sensitive so he could have never challenged the Sith or Jedi

He was in the mix and was seriously injured and had to fall back.

My point on Ezra is that by the end of Rebels he won't need any training. At 15 he is already being portrayed as stronger than his master. If he were to survive to the timeline of the new trilogy he would be a beast. No reason for him to take a back seat to an untrained Kylo and based on his character he wouldn't.
