not familiar with the EU.... i just know some stuff from the net ... but my conclusions are based of teh content i see and what I think would be a dope concept for the movie ... and a little common sense.
But the EU is officially non canon now until pieces are used for the various movies
For those who have watched Girls, the dark cloaked figure made me think of Adam, who actually is supposed to be a bad guy in this movie. Could also be Luke with some flame weapon. Doesn't look like a saber to me.
yeah, makes me think this could be a family member. Perhaps a son.(not that all black people have to be related)
The Inquisitor wouldn't be weak at all. He seems to be Vader's apprentice in Rebels. Could have gone into hiding after the Emperor was defeated. Now he needs a new apprentice. Muahahahahah!!!

He wouldn't be weak compared to the average Jedi or Sith. But I was thinking that the Villain needs to be Skywalker, Palpaine, Yoda, Mace Windu caliber lol. Aka insanely powerful

I don't wanna post too much because it might spoil, but I think this villain for Epi 7 could be just a conduit for introducing the REAL villain of the arc. Like someone said in the same vein as Maul did for Palpatine.

there is one story in the EU that has one of the best heel turns in all of Star Wars...even better than Vader's imo. And that could be a skeleton for this.

The Episode 7 villain potentially not being the ultimate villain is a good point, maybe it's just the apprentice. Or is stand alone but they introduce a hero to the dark side.
