The homie saw a rough cut of this...said it was fire, JJ and Disney came thru, and that Boyega IS the main character. Says that the movie isn't finished yet but what he saw was the third best SW film. The finished cut will probably be 2nd behind Empire Strikes Back, he said.

We can thank Lucas because he probably required a black main for this trilogy as part of the deal in the sale to disney. He is married to a black woman, donates to black causes, is building affordable housing for low income families in marin county near his skywalker ranch property and he bankrolled Red Tails when the big studios didn't want to throw down.
