I hope Mace Windu character comes back during the Yoda Prequel Origin film they are planning, that would be dope and a chance for Sam to reprise his role again.

I thought Sidious was supposed to be more powerful than that. He's was trash in fighting Mace imo. Yoda supposed to be the sh*t but he couldn't take down Dooku in part II. I don't know, all that sh*t was off if you ask me:manny:

This is why people shyt on Lucas and the PT in general. It takes everything you know about the OT and tosses it to the bushes.

The Emperor as he's portrayed in ROTJ is basically the devil. His power wasn't measured by how well he could wield a lightsaber. Even in the throne room he mocks Luke and his "jedi weapon". In the end the thing that did in him was Luke's compassion and faith in his father, not his lightsaber.

And yet there he was in the PT being reduced to just another guy with a laser sword.

Yes Mace did beat Pal before Anakin cheated and saved him. Mace was 2nd Powerful under Yoda. He gave the Emperor that work. But Mace is to blame for his own death. Had him and the Jedi Counsel trust Anakin and believed in him a little more than he would of never went to the Dark Side. All Anakin said was "Let me go with you" and Mace was like "NO". Anakin and Mace would of bodied the Emperor and Episode IV, V and IV would of never happen.

Mace had the right idea. "don't trust Cacs":birdman:

The Emperor was way more Powerful in the Original trilogy than in the Prequels. Luke even with all his gifted natural ability being passed down to him since his father was "THE ONE" wasn't enough to beat the emperor. Had Luke finished his training with Yoda than maybe he would of stood a chance but he didn't. Anakin was the only one powerful enough to beat the Emperor. This is why Mace in the end was wrong. Anakin ended up killing the emperor and bringing balance to the force. Had Mace let him go with him Anakin would of brought balance much sooner and the galaxy wouldn't of been in chaos.

All that prophecy chosen one balance to the force mumbo jumbo wasn't in play until Lucas wrote the PT.

In other words non canon :camby:

we have to remember luke was very young in using the force, no matter what he wouldnt of been able to defeat sidious with his 40-50 plus years of knowledge of the force

This is false. Originally everyone thought Luke was the chosen one during the Original Trilogy days. Lucas basically just said, no it was always Anakin and gave us the back story. Lucas had the Prequels planned from the beginning but chose to tell the story in the middle cause the Prequels in his words (Weren't as excited as the middle chapter). Boy was he right.

Yes but Luke became a full blown Jedi without completing his training with Yoda and started way later than his father did. This shows you how powerful Luke was naturally. Because he was naturally gifted cause of his bloodline. This is why I'm so excited for Episode VII. Luke has now had 30 years to train and gain more knowledge of the force.

Nowhere is it even close to being implied in the originals that Anakin was of virgin birth nor was there any mention of any ancient prophecy.

Even after 3 movies I bet you nobody can tell what exactly the prophecy means because it's never even explained. What the fukk does "balance to the force" even mean???
