I'm in the middle of a massive Star Wars binge. In the last two weeks I've watched all three prequels, the 2008 Clone Wars movie plus all seven seasons of the TV series, Solo, Rogue One, Obi-Wan, A New Hope, and read the first volumes of the Jason Aaron and Kieron Gillen comics. I'm currently finishing up season two of Rebels.

I expect to be fully Star Wars'd out by the time this show comes out, but if I'm not I guess I'll check it out.

i'm not gonna argue about Rogue One in any capacity, bc i'm steadfast on it being the most overrated SW material and literally the most pointless movie ever made. 99% of anything made can be argued as "pointless," and yet this movie will forever be the most pointless thing i've ever seen. ... shoutout to Black Widow though, which was painfully pointless as well.

Every story is pointless.

I don’t care for the mandalorian, the book of Bobby fett was a good idea for a small one season show but horrible executed. The obj wan show was stupid, boring and unnecessary.

Andor seem cool, but I have a feeling it gonna be a whole bunch of characters we don’t care about.

But after Disney dropped the ball with boba fett and obi wan they really can’t go any where but up at this point.

Every story is pointless.

that's usually the counter... and while mildly true, no story has ever been nearly as pointless as "wait, but just how did Princess Leia get the Death Star plans at the beginning of SW?" and then building a movie around a group of people who just fukkin die. first non-Skywalker movie out and they come up with the least creative shyt imaginable. we had Death Star fatigue already and they made a fukkin death star movie

everyone loves it though b/c it was "different" simply for that reason. it was a "Star Wars Story." the movie could have been "Obi Wan Takes a shyt for 2 hours" with a big budget and people woulda came their pants. if Solo came out first, people would talk about it as an all time classic.

I loved mando, I liked boba fett, and I very much enjoyed obi wan. but this one does NOT appeal to me.

if they hadn't done that with Wandavision i probably wouldn't have finished the show. I wasn't hooked until the third episode of that show.

Yeah, the early word of mouth on this has been really high. Should easily be the best Star Wars show dropping this year.
