Looks good, the first star wars show that actually seems like it would make a good show.


Although I think in 2 more years if they keep pumping out star wars shows with only 1-2 season people will become numb, it feel like we are at a point where Disney is shoveling content in or face for no good reason other then the fact its "star wars". The book of boba fett was...ok...but absolutely pointless. (my guess is they filmed it cause all the sets from the mando and obi where availible and they could easily pump out another show during the "off season")

They need a flaghship show that could go for 5+ seasons. The mandalorina is good but without baby yoda the show has almost no appeal outside fan service plot devices.

I don’t think people will care if it’s a bunch of one or two season shows as long as they tell the full story.

Plus because of all the continuity, the longer these shows go, the more they have to watch out for contradictions that will upset fans unless they go beyond Rise of Skywalker

I loved Rogue one as it showed the real consequences of the war and focused on the lesser smaller pieces that support the rebellion and empire. Its kinda childish to just think and old powerful emperor just held everybody in check with lightning fingers and a robot enforcer.

The politics and propaganda shown in ep 1-3 bored The casual fans but it layed out how calculated palps is and im sure the show will mirror how our own Govt moves with the imperial senate mostly being puppets and being corrupt with a handful like leia secretfully forming the rebellion.

We need that Palp origin show and Starkiller

Who would've thought actually emphasizing the "War" part of Star Wars like they did in the originally trilogy would actually make for good Star Wars content.

To much focus on jedi adventures of self discovery and bounty hunting recently. Reason i like Rogue One better than most of the new movie, rather see a war, than pod racing, or scavenger hunts.

By far looks the best of not only Star Wars but all Disney+ shows Marvel included. I agree I never would have thought that when it was first announced.

Doesn't this apply to most Disney related SW show content? I haven't watched any of this shyt. It's all the weirdest fan service shyt imaginable, always playing around the edges of existing events/lore in hopes that nerds give a shyt. And clearly some do I guess based on the Obi Wan show being watched a lot. But again, why...

Of course contrarians will still make some random point about it and claim that means it's trash without making any true connecting argument. "These characters are already dead, therefore prequels suck." type nonsensical arguments. Could use that same argument against having the Robert Dinero storyline in Godfather 2. Means nothing without a real argument for why it sucks. Black Widow was trash because it was a bad movie, that told a story we didn't care about in order to promote a new character, not because her character already died in endgame and it was set before those events.
What if somebody never saw the movie you referencing? would the movie suddenly become good because to them it's not a prequel? no.

i'm not gonna argue about Rogue One in any capacity, bc i'm steadfast on it being the most overrated SW material and literally the most pointless movie ever made. 99% of anything made can be argued as "pointless," and yet this movie will forever be the most pointless thing i've ever seen. ... shoutout to Black Widow though, which was painfully pointless as well.
