I mean you could always get a free trial of all access, watch the first season, and then be done with it. shyt is only $5/month. Use it till you’re done with Star Trek and then move on. I won’t sign up again until the new season starts

The way folks were talking on here, I thought Orville might have been trash. Ended up binging the first season after giving it a try

I fear for it though since it's on FOX.

It’s already renewed man lol y’all really give Fox a bad rep like they don’t give shyt a try. No other broadcast network would even give the Orville a shot. Or firefly. Or the x files. shyt doesn’t always work out but no one spends money on a show, spends money promoting it, and all those resources just to cancel it. Making tv is expensive.

Ultimately it always depends on the fans. If you want it to survive, make sure you watch and your people watch. That’s all you can do breh

Last two shows I liked on FOX got axed after one season. Just want the stuff I like to at least last for 5 seasons.

Yeah, I get it. I'm a sci-fi head so most of my shyt is always getting bodied That's why I'm going hard for The Expanse right now. Copped Season 3 off amazon sending to emails to them and friends acting like a fiend.

Too bad the new ones suck. Watched half of the first one and haven't bothered to check out the other two.

They should have continued the Next Generation timeline instead of a reboot.

i liked em, to each his/her own

the 3rd one feels more like a TOS episode but the first two are basically action films in the Star Trek universe (Especially "Into Darkness") and that's completely fine with me

I like philosophy and thought provoking stuff but I also like action

That's not true. Seth MacFarlane is attached to it. That alone gets that show in the door for most networks.

I don't know man. I mean I thought of that as soon as i typed it but i still say the idea of doing a scifi show which is really more scifi than comedy, in primetime, on a weeknight, isn't really going to have many bites, even if Seth is starring in it

If they continued next generation and got most of the cast to come back that would have been so huge!!! I wonder if any of them besides Wil wheaton does comic conventions

Never been to one, but I have seen pictures of some of cast at some.

Yeah I think Wil was at C2e2 last year or the before. I’m sure Patrick Stewart might be too big for it, but mybe not cause those conventions pull major people. The cast did a convention when they were on Family Guy... so it’s not a far shot
