:patrice: I'm not sure. I wanna lean "Star Wars: The Force Awakens".over "Star Trek" 2009 because I'm a bigger Star Wars fan.

But, I gotta go "Star Trek: Into the Darkness" >>>>>>>>>>> "Star Wars: The Force Awakens".
Nah lol. And I like into darkness. They're both remixes but at least force awakens earns its character moments

Star Trek. It's not that close for me either. I grew up on Star Wars. Love the movies books tv shows, but I didn't give a f**k about Star Trek. That is until the movie. TFA just played on nostogila too much. Not that it wasn't a good movie. Good movie but I think Star Trek was newer to me. Clearly jmo tho

This is hard for me to choose. Both are fukking incredible. In some ways Trek is better and in some ways TFA is better. I'll probably watch TFA more but I still routinely go back and rewatch Star Trek as well.

I kinda feel like I enjoy TFA more then Trek but that Trek was the better overall movie, but the thing is the first Trek reboot was its own self contained story, it had a beginning and ending. TFA was an introduction into a much larger trilogy spanning storyline that has a lot of loose ends and questions to be answered. idk.

TFA didn't do anything to establish it's own identity. It felt like A New Hope for a new generation. It was an ok movie.

Star Trek on the other hand brought Star Trek movies back to the masses. It stayed true enough to the original formula for the old heads to accept it but dumbed it down enough for new people as well.

I haven't seen the second one but the Justin Lin one looks pretty rough.
