Star Wars. Star Trek has a helluva strong opening scene, and it manages to be entertaining throughout, but its plot is completely forgettable and a lot of performances are way too tongue-in-cheek.

Star Wars. I can't remember anything from Star Trek which means either

1) I have a bad memory
2) It just wasn't that great

Star Wars was better because it actually felt like a Star Wars movie as opposed to Star Trek. Once Abrams admitted that he was more of a Star Wars fan when he was handed the keys to Star Trek I knew what it was:francis:

I think the sequel to Star Trek kinda taints the first movie's impression in a lot of ways....

When Star Trek came back, it was just so on point and true to the series while setting itself apart. Now? Its something else.

Star Wars has that feeling that you KNOW its gonna be an improvement over the last iteration in the long run. Its a bit unfair because of the natural bias imo

but pizza :manny:

:patrice: Star Trek was a great flick, but I never cared to watch the sequel. Star Wars was just incredible. Flaws and all. That ending has me anxiously waiting for the sequel to see the build up of the characters more. The fact that TFA has me wanting more and was one hell of an experience it gets my vote. Plus ST had so many familiar actors playing new characters in it which made it even more forgettable. Newer actors in TFA were a breath of fresh air.

I'm going with Trek... Movie seemed deeper imo and as someone who had never seen a trek movie before I still felt more of a connection with those characters

:patrice: I'm not sure. I wanna lean "Star Wars: The Force Awakens".over "Star Trek" 2009 because I'm a bigger Star Wars fan.

But, I gotta go "Star Trek: Into the Darkness" >>>>>>>>>>> "Star Wars: The Force Awakens".
