This is tough. I think I'm going with Trek because I've had more time with it and it hit me in a really nice sweet spot. I love force awakens also though but right now, I'm going with Trek. I think I just related too much to Pine's Kirk and it's such a gorgeous movie. Much like force awakens, it's a perfectly casted flick and everyone has great chemistry. Force Awakens has the better villain by far though, but there's so much internal conflict and drama in Trek with Spock losing his mom, Kirk trying to grow up and come to grips with not having his dad around, everyone getting acclimated to each other, and even old spock adding some pathos to it.

Tough to say... Star trek was the reason I knew JJ was perfect for the job of directing star wars. I've always loved star wars more so I'll probably end up enjoying it slightly better but star trek is a very very good scifi flick, one that I own on bluray and rewatch on a regular basis

Dammit man! *bones voice* This is all true! :noah:

Really it can go either way. Both were very enjoyable.

Since I'm more of a Star Wars fan than a Star Trek fan...

Star Trek's flaws were more forgivable (funny how this works :heh:. Remember Star Trek fans liking the movie, but complaining a lot. Now I'm doing the same in the Star Wars thread. :pachaha::francis:) .

So Star Trek for me :popcorn3:

Spock watching his whole planet be destroyed and Uhura meeting him in the elevator to try to comfort him:to: such a dope scene with very few words. just the perfect reaction to trying to comfort a loved one when you have no idea what to do or what to say and his response was simple: I need everyone to continue performing admirably. Brehs, come on!:damn:

Lol nah the most gully thing I've ever seen in a movie is still anton in no country for old men
