I didn’t say they had been forcing one but that they have been striving to make a successful one time and time again. Marvel wants a Superman so badly, hell the Sentry is a direct rip of the character.

This isn’t even the original black superman, I remember years ago reading an issue(believe it was a justice league issue) where there was a bald black Superman that had psychic powers.

Hate him or love him it can’t be denied that Superman ushered in the Superhero wave. Hell before him the term Superhero wasn’t used but crime fighters. He changed the game and was the template for all the heroes that came after. Not giving him his due is ridiculous all to hype Marvel up.

This is not true. Marvel has spiderman,xmen and now iron man. And sentry was never a character that was as setup to rival superman. His whole arc was how to much power corrupts.
