I never got around to trying ST.Louis style when I lived there for a spell. Heard Imo's was basura

i have friends in florissant/ferguson and ive been through there four or five times and every time i try st louis pizza i hate it

my pizza needs to fold, tho i will fukk up some chicago style pizza any time 🍕🍕🍕:eat:

if i wanted some crunchy ass bread id just eat some bruschetta :yeshrug:

st louis style pizza dough doesnt use yeast/leaveners either...
best pizza ive had has been in jersey, oregon, and (idk how) oklahoma and they were all "NY" style. big and floppy :dame:

new yorks looks the best though, pizza is overrated its mainly for people who cant cook.

i eat the crust and maybe some cheese, but the center of the pizza is kind of weak and not fulfilling. waste of calories.

There are some astonishingly stupid takes on pizza in this thread. nikkas know that pizza varies in Italy as well, right? And that “NY” pizza represents AT LEAST three different regional styles?

That being said, Provel is something that’s much better in theory than in practice. Otherwise, thin crust tavern pies are flames

It’s crazy people still think Chicago style is exclusively deep dish. That’s a novelty style pizza and mostly for tourists. There are about 3 other distinct styles of pizza Chicago is known for

That said, Chicago still has my vote for best pizza overall. Just the variety can’t be beat imo

New York and Connecticut are tied for 2nd. I’d give NY the edge again for variety but Connecticut makes some amazing and underrated pizza

LA has great food overall with so much diversity but to be honest the best pizza Ive had in LA comes from places owned by transplants from other cities. There’s a Chicago-style pizza place in Long Beach called Rances that I fukk with heavy
