If he would have kept the tapes, they would have wanted them publicly release.

Dude, the best part about the audio in the OP. (9:05mark). Is the author said the league helped the patriots go 18-1 to cover up for them.
Also he said he has no inside sources he just gathered every thing off the internet "and laid it out on his king size mattress".

I can careless about "Patriots Haters" and all of the other labels. The commissioner did the Pats a disservice in getting rid of it so quickly. I called it from JUMP that him doing so was going to allow Spygate to persist rather than get it out of the way and make it a thing of the past.

All I'm saying was I don't think it would really mattered in the minds of sports fans. The Patriots had become the Yankees and even if he didn't destroy them and their was nothing else to see on them, people were going to make the association that there was more than he didn't let out, for a variety of reasons.

It would matter because the author of this book would have nothing to write about or make up in 2012 because everythign would have been laid out on the table back in 2007. There'd be no interest from sports fans wanting to hear a broken record.
