Pats bytching in here need to blame the commissioner for not putting everything on front street. All it does is allow Spygate to continue being an evolving story.

You guys are on some bullshyt. The Pats hadn't won for two years before Spygate. The point the guy was making was sustained excellence. They've still been the class of the NFL and model of consistency. That's like saying the Lakers were not a marquee NBA franchise when they lost in the finals. It's crazy how hating the Patriots makes people devoid of logic. The Detroit Pistons went to like 4 or 5 straight ECF, they were an elite team even when they weren't winning.
If Spygate made the Pats, they would've gotten considerably worse after it. They would've been like Bellicheck's Browns and early Patriots teams. Somehow they went to the SB twice and nearly made the playoffs (albeit with an easy schedule and a lot of changing shyt around) without Brady. Yet, somehow this shows that Spygate made them into a great team. They lost SBs on a couple of plays, and they had won the previous 3 in the same way. If anything, their losses show that luck wasn't on their side anymore and it takes a little bit of that to win. You're smarter than this.

So, the cheating scandal was not that bad because the team remained good even after the scandal was revealed.
