When the Cavs had Bron, he sat out 4 games, and nothing happened...

Miami has did this in the playoffs semi-recently too, I swear.

Stern being a biased c*nt as usual, blocking completely LEGAL moves.

It was allowed last year

Why the uproar all of a sudden.

Breh everybody right now is playing for homecourt in the the playoffs. Sitting players out on a game when your spot is solidified is a different scenario. They should have fined them 500k IMO when you think about the raised commercial prices they probably charged for those airtime minutes, hiked ticket prices ect. They have a lot of people looking at them with the :comeon: face right now because of that. Anybody cosigning this is thinking too much like a fan this a business first, sports second. The whole reason anybody gets cashed out like do is because of tv and superstars on tv; no other reason. You hustling backwards if your stars aren't playing on tv, these dudes that play are tv stars no different than actors or musicians. That's why I can't see how any nikka can hate on kobe or bron them nikkas would have never sat out this early in the season. These dudes going head to head with Thursday night football and want that type of money.

Stern didn't block the move so stop making stuff up :why:he fined them which is his right . You guys comparing players actually resting to pop trying to prove a point . He looked in July and saw that his team would need rest on the Thursday night game ? Niccas were off Friday play Saturday then off till weds . spitting in TNT face. He's mad about the 11 games in the month

Fans make the NBA, so it's crazy how nikkas is co-signing this bullshyt Pop pulled. Then get mad at Goddell when he is like fukk the fans, I'mma do what I want. If shyt like this is allowed, fans all over the league will have wasted money and time.

fukk the spurs, but when has stern ever cared about them? and since when has stern ever cared about the fans? 2 lockouts and a shady relocation, but it's about the fans?

stern just wanted to be the dictator he always is.

a bunch of fake outrage here.

Well it's better he do something about it late than to do nothing at all. People paid big money in Mia to see the spurs and their stars face the Heat. As I will say again, the fans make the NFL and NBA. Stop letting these leagues keep fukking over the fans who put the money in their damn pockets.

This is fukking ridiculous. I ain't reading thru all these posts but anyone backing this decision can go fukk themselves. Stern should not be able to dictate things like this, its sets a horrible and undeveloped precedent that has soooooooo many loopholes. What happens if the Heat sit the big 3 at the end of the season once they wrap up the 1 seed? It would be for the same reason Pop did it. I mean this exact situation plays out every end of the season for teams. Why has it never been addressed??? How can you issue a massive fine with any warning???

I think Stern made a rash decision when he said there would be 'sanctions'. He then had no choice but to back it up or run the risk of not backing up his word. He knows this was a poor decision... he just acted too quickly.

Im assuming you didn't read sterns statement he clearly indicated it being a early season game and them being sent home was a major reason as well. Why do you clown keep bringing up end of the season games :heh:

Fans, opponents, etc accept the late-season resting at this point so no one is really going to get upset. But doing it this early, and on the night he did it, was an obvious :troll: move by Pop.

You want every team following their lead and just sitting ALL their best players any time the play what they believe is too many games in too short a time? There is no reason Pop couldn't sit them one at a time. Doing it like he did was intentional. He dared Stern to do something.

I still don't know how Pop & the Spurs allegedly deprived the fans?
Fans still got LeBron, Wade and the rest of the heat.

Face it: Ain't no one outside South Texas that wants to see Old McDuncan, Frenchie and Argvark play. They haven't done shyt since the Bush presidency anyways.

Only bad thing coming out of this is Pop jeopardizing their chances of threepeating as regular season champions.

Nobody watched that shyt a lot of money was probably lost on tnts end as well

Pop

Everybody has to make decisions about their schedule, about players playing and back-to-backs and trips and that sort of thing. In our case, this month we've had 11 away games, after tonight. We've had an eight-day trip and a ten-day trip, and we're ending it with four (games) in five nights here. I think it'd be unwise to be playing our guys in that kind of a situation, given their history.
