Nah, the fans don't have a grudge against Stern. They have issues with Stern's decisions. There's a giant difference. One creates bias, the other doesn't necessarily.

Well you're going to have to tell me why he has a grudge against Stern, because otherwise I don't believe it without proof.

I just see a man who doesn't have his head up Stern's ass and highlights some little-known things that Stern has done, which are questionable.

Stern's statement said he fined them because they didn't inform anyone of the decision. I'm pretty sure cleveland didn't inform the sixers they would rest lebron. Stern is just full of shyt to me. The spurs have done this for years and there was no fine.

stern spoke on this last season, the spurs should have seen this coming he should they would look into solving this issue next season.

Stern, Revenue sharing, lockouts etc seems that the fans matter to me :yeshrug:. LOL at the fans not mattering.
I didnt say the fans didnt matter. you clearly have some reading comprehension problems

I said, coaches and players are trying to win shyt, not appease fans. they manage THEIR personnel as much as they see fit to maximize their chances of winning.

everything else is business. spurs fans at this point should blindly accept whatever the fukk pop does, hes got a track record. the other fans can eat a dikk. since when nikkas were tryin to watch duncan play anyway :heh:
all I heard in his heyday is that hes boring and he acts white. now yall on some "play timmeh!" shyt "childplease:

there's no way to "solve" this without setting off a fire storm. Sounds like stern should coach all teams as well. Pop did whats in the best interest of his team, and i can respect that.

Next time he'll just list them on the injury report

Ok, somebody that won something. We can talk. I hear u talking, but the Spurs just went 5-1 on the road trip. The fact that we almost won makes ur argument (the game was "completely tanked") totally pointless. U get the gauranteed wins and focus on ur conference oponents, like say Memphis, who we got on Saturday.

And since u a Bulls fan, why u worrying bout the Spurs anyway? Shouldn't u be in the gym spotting Derrick Rose, getting him a Powerade or sumthin, making sure he come back healthy? Go do that.

:heh: at the bolded... but back to the topic at hand

My argument can't be totally pointless if he really made the decision in July. You can't convince me that looking at the schedule in July and deciding to sit 4/5 of your starters against the best team in the league while playing four games in 5 nights isn't tanking. He tanked a game, but it might haunt him when it comes down to home court advantage for the Finals. Especially since, as everybody who is defending him in this thread has pointed out, it's all he cares about. :rudy:

Just face it, he wanted to throw a game and muscle the league on national TV but he got bytched.

By sitting players they're trying to win? :childplease:

fans like you and me arent entitled to shyt. just because the league makes money of you you THINK you are. but you arent.

pop is trying to win games and the ship, not care about your ass enjoying the game with top players. pop doesnt give a rats ass about you, he doesnt play for YOU. you think kobe and lebron play for you ? :childplease: they play to fukking win

lol at sterns bytch ass saying "he didnt inform the heat" :laff: why would you EVER inform that your players not finna play ?

:why:

This a money making entity that many many others also profit from. Vegas probably shytted themselves when they saw Pop left 4 starters at home. Doing shyt like that effects more than just the Spurs and this one game. People lost money because of this and I bet Stern had to take the lion's share of folks bytchin about it. No matter the outcome of the game, tens of thousands of dollars were exchanged with the thought that if healthy and able, Duncan, Manu, and Parker would be on the floor playing. When you get to this level, it is not longer just a game. Its a business.

shyt like this is why the NFL makes every team list injury reports right up until an hour before the game. You can't be playing with people's money.
