Nets have too many young guards to develop. His best bet is a fringe contender that has cap space, but I don't think there is any.

I think LeBron reached out to Kawhi and his people and that got him acting out of character. Now Kawhi's going to have to seriously commit to going to the Lakers if he actually wants to play there, and making such a commitment so early is always bad unless you know what you're doing, because you're going to have to manage other people's expectations.
