yeah but LeBron doesn't sign here by himself....he either comes with PG or Kawhi or both. There is no sign Bron in 18 and then keep the max slot to add Kawhi in 19 scenario.....Bron isn't wasting a year like that. At least with PG he has a decent chance if the Dubs get an injury to Steph or KD.

eh i guess. bron would have to sign a career finisher deal tho no more of that 1 year with a player option stuff. if im signing PG wishy washy ass i need longterm from him.

Lakers would be stupid to trade young pieces for kawhi. Need to keep them and fit kawhi in a year later instead of depleting everything trying to get a big 3. You need a AK 47 with an extra clip not a glock in this day and age. Even if Bron coming let him run with the youngins cause just Bron and 1 or 2 pieces ain't enough.
I fully expect the Lakers to try to trade for him tho.
