He's more Vegeta than Bishop. The difference between saving him and killing him is apparent when you see who replaces him in ME2 and you see firsthand how Wrex is different from the other Krogans out there.

That should be a thread in of itself. Dude was Obviously Evil. There's a lot of those in games too, I most recently played Scarlet Nexus and that game had one of those Obviously Evil nikkas in it too that they introduce as a good guy.
