Turning this issue into a "white people this / black people that" narrative is fukking ridiculous....and youre making it up. That entire reply was total bullshyt and i grow weary of motherfukkers saying "oh thats some whiteboy shyt" to stuff they just dont like. Its childish as fukk, and awful.

I agree I shouldn't have said that. I been in that ferguson thread being militant (for obvious reasons) i was also fresh off the blunt so my judgement was off.

Problem is DC is way too conservative. Say about Marvel what you will, but for better of for worse they give their writers a lot of freedom to write the stories they want with the tone they want. There's a reason why DC got Giffen only on these really 'out there' books because they don't want his crazy ideas and executions too close to their main universe.

And I'd argue that Marvel characters are the same. Peter didn't let tragedy define him, he continued to grow, went to college, attempted to get his PhD and through some Doc Ock fukkery finally got it. He owns his own company, he got married, he pushed to make a better life for himself and his family. Wolverine got over himself and wised up to the point where he opened a school for mutants and became a headmaster, despite all of his personal BS, he managed to do something really selfless in the name of professor X and Jean Grey in order to help kids who may be in the same situation he was in. Tony has conquered his alcoholic demons and while he's still not perfect, he's no longer a fiend. Reed found a way to balance his work and his personal life, something he couldn't have done before and Banner has embraced the good that comes with being Hulk and learned to control his anger rather than be a slave to it. Daredevil even has gotten over his demons and his past in order to try to be a better man and make the world a brighter place. All of them push and push and push but they never lose sight of what makes them human

Wolverine and the x men. They ended the first run a few months ago and it's been a while since I've read an X book so I have no clue where they are now but wolverine reopened the school for mutants called it jean grey academy and was the headmaster. Beast and kitty and a few other x men were on staff. Really good book. It tied into the split between wolverine and cyclops

Bruce had a fumbling sidekick that ruined most of his story lines
Starks had a cute broad that always had his back?? even if he fukked with other hoes

Especially with Captain America, Superior Foes Of Spider-Man(which I think is ending) Miles Morales Ultimate Comics Spider-man, Hawkeye And New Avengers on the stands..

Only DC comics I actually even check for Is Harley Quinn

first time i seen a thread on marvel vs dc.. it took me back to my childhood thats all
i had no idea yall were scholars at this. for me its just nostalgia

Ima HUGE Daredevil fan! I always was. Since a little kid.
I try to get into the DC shyt but I just dont be feeling it aside from a few old Batman joints son hit me with.

What would you recommend, I like new avengers but that infinity cross over was so meh to me that I stoped reading it, been meaning to pick it back up.
