I don't know about ending the brand split but at least mix up the wrestlers here and there. Let people from other shows come thru and invade or challenge someone on another show. Not have the same matches practically every week. Let the superstars have more creative talent especially with their promos. And let NXT be itself and let Triple H run it instead of Vince or that Nick Khan guy. That color scheme looks dumb and I'm sure the plan changes will be also. They got 7 hours of programming a week, which is a lot of course, compared to AEW 3, but it is what it is. Maybe cutting an hour or half an hour to Raw might help if possible. They have a few decent stars but no excitement going for a lot of them. Vince needs to let others have a say and not try to control everything. Going thru the roster on their website, other than Adam Cole still being on there
, I don't see a lot of wrestlers that people could care much about. Not including tag teams and women, and of course not including AJ and Orton who are currently in tag teams. Big E, Lashley, Cesaro, Priest (maybe but he's still fairly new and who knows how long before Vince buries him), Drew but he been rather boring since he lost the belt, Edge kind of, Finn, KO, Nak, Roman, Sami, maybe Sheamus, and Seth. They lose any 1 or 2 of those guys at least before mania and they in bad shape. Most of them likely been stuck in the same feud for weeks if not months.
I remember Raw growing up used to be full of suspense and interesting storylines. Maybe they need to do that again. And bring back stables. They broke up everybody except the bloodline now it seems. Don't need no elaborate story on the stable but just a group of wrestlers bound together with the goal of winning and helping each other out. Put more emphasis on rising stars too. Next major ppv is Survivor Series, and instead of raw vs smackdown, they could also build up stables and feuds between different guys and brands. Mix it up a bit.
They need to do something cuz if not AEW gonna take over. I predict that if AEW keeps going with this momentum, that soon as they can get another hour for Rampage they'll grab it and possibly cut into SD last hour or maybe even move to Monday or Tuesday and challenge Raw or NXT. They just had Danielson and Cole and Ruby debut and Suzuki appear as well for a match this Wed with Mox, not to mention the talent in Impact and possibly NJPW that they can use. WWE doesn't even know how to use the talent they have, let alone be willing to work with others.
Cody said during ALL IN back in 2018 before AEW was created that he was feeling a revolution and 3 years later it has definitely happened. WWE better do something or 3 years from now, who knows if they'll even exist. Lets remind ourselves to see how things are in the industry in September 2024. Hopefully the coli still around by then.
