To '93's credit, The Chronic came out in the last 2 weeks of '92, so that has its own mark left in '93. Matter fact, it was the most-loved, played, bought album of that year all the way til damn near the end. Because '93 had a lot of good singles and a nice batch of albums, but it didn't get GREAT until like the last three months. It was OK up until the fall, THEN all the great stuff came out. It still counts as '93, sure... but there was a whole 9 months of that year that was just... good. Whereas '94? From top to bottom, consistently high quality shyt coming out.

Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde rolled over into 93 esp when Passin Me By blew up.

94 was better but 93 had a lot dope albums and many were classic.

i was nowhere near close to 13.

most of those albums, i didnt hear til years later. some of the joints dude mentioned, i never heard. but i was following HEAVY and heard alot of the albums in real time. it aint no fakin in my funk.

plus, i listed nothing but singles, most of which, i knew like the back of my hand back then.:birdman:
