The Book Of Eli----"Oh, Denzel's on some Mad Max shyt now " I was wrong.Enjoyed the hell out of that flick




The Matrix---- thought it was one of those overly technical, nerdy, "Tron" type flicks.Ended up being a mind boggling classic



Looking back, I realize I didn't appreciate certain movies when they first dropped.



Movies like "Baby Boy" and "Friday After Next" didn't really appeal to me when they first came out.shyt was "meh " to me when they first dropped.


Now they're two of my personal favorites.It's strange.They didn't live up to my expectations then, but over time, they've grown on me to the point that they exceed my expectations now.I guess I just didn't "get it" back then

I recently saw a vampire movie with kids in it called Let Me In. It was amazing.

Battle Royale - I never knew about the cult status of this film, and sorta expected it to be a cheesy Japanese gore flick based on the trailer....boy was I wrong as fukk


It now stands as one of my favorite movies ever made.
