This thread has me confused about who is what poster, and who holds what position.... I don't get wtf is going on.
There are different ways you can look at things.
Is it possible for one to live in the area during Jesus' lifetime and not be a Jew?? Is it possible that the term and idea of 'Jew' didn't mean what we believe it means until recent times?
Is is possible to truly study Jesus and say that he was a Jew. He was trying to fukk over the Pharisees and the Sadducees as a life mission.... and spoke, acted, and practiced like a Muslim would.... not saying he called himself a Muslim. just saying he wasn't a Jew.. that is an assumption we've been trained to believe. Jesus spoke Aramaic. Historians have shown that Jesus wasn't a jew like the ones he fought against... and he wasn't a Jew (ethnically, culturally, religiously, etc) like the ones we know about today. He simply submitted to the will of God-- and that was the underlying theme of his message. Is it possible that we combined his life with pagan stories of being impregnated by Gods... to make him son of man, some Jew who will come back from heaven eventually.
Jew don't believe Jesus even existed... or at least wasn't a prophet. Christianity isn't a real thing... but even if it was, Jesus wasn't a Christian, didn't sanction pagan ideas being mixed into religion to create Christmas, idolatry, a rewrite of religious text. We know that Jesus submitted to will of God; so by definition he could be called a Muslim. and because he was a prophet, he's considered a prophet of Islam by Muslims.
Is it possible that Jesus came to speak truth to the people we refer to as Jews and they rejected and eventually murdered him? Jesus though of these people as hypocrites. The main people he attacked were hypocrite... the main people Muhammad attacked were hypocrites. Neither man told their followers that they would be saved by anyone other than themselves - through your own deeds, through your own lifestyle. The Buddha even says, "No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path." Jesus did nothing that he wasn't trying to teach a lesson on. He walked on water then had others walk on water... not to show how great he was... but to show us how great we can be.
Muslim's consider the old testament to be from God. Jesus thought the same and said " The Scripture cannot be broken". The Jews were lost by the time of Jesus... Muhammad came to get people to not fall into the 'sin all you want' way of Christianity, or to fall into the corrupt down with powerful gov ways of the Jews... From eating to praying Islam came to bring righteousness and peace.
