One thing I feel is missing from this thread is the ACKNOWLEDGEMENT that if you have a good girl that stays at home and keeps the house IN ORDER then they are CONTRIBUTING.
It took me being married and working on communication with with wifey to understand and appreciate certain things.
If she make sure your kids are good, and the house is clean then you got a good one.
My wife got a good ass job but still holds the family down so much in the house cause it’s just in her nature.

I took care of the kids during the day, and went to work at night while she was with them
I have no problem with this at all. Having a duel incomes is cool too, but having someone at home that can look out for everything besides work and a great burden off you too.

When do kids start cleaning after themselves, fully?? Like lets be real, because kids still have to have their mom pick up after them even into their high schools years..and can barely keep their a55es clean..so moms will be cleaning FOREVER lol

No because kids grow up and I believe a woman has to have some type of skills. I think it's always a hard transition when a woman goes from home based mom to the corporate world.

Cleaning ain't that hard, even then I clean up after myself or clean and go, so what is there to clean really? If anything a man's cleaning is harder. When I met my wife she stated up front she believed in traditional values.
However, she paid her way through college (HBCU) and earned a degree in computer science and has a great state job as a computer programmer (baby girl smart)
She still wants to work because she is close to retirement and then once she retires she wants to start her own computer business from home so by the time our daughter starts high school she can be on her and “watch” her like a hawk

I grew up in a home where pops worked full time and mom dukes worked part time.
Mom Dukes told me it’s okay to find a wife who wants to be a traditional stay at home mom but she also emphasized to find a woman who was skilled enough to enter the job field just in case something happened to me and for my wife to be able to take care of herself and our kids without needing a man.
A lot of cats can’t handle the pressure and responsibility of being a full time bread winner because,
#1 most men pick ain’t shyt women because their desperate to get their dikks wet and don’t vet quality women who are committed to building family wealth.
#2 most men can’t handle being a certified boss in their own home and community.
