Where you work a job and your wife takes care of the house work and kids?

I always felt that a lot of dudes if they could and had some assurance that everything was on the up and up at home they would.

In a perfect world, at least for the early years. After the kids are old enough for school I'd encourage my lady to start a business to make sure she'd have some sense of purpose outside of the kids/myself. I don't think ONLY being a housewife is healthy for marriages

Any woman who suggests being a stay at home mom is a bum. They talk about cooking and cleaning. Well cleaning is what the kids will be doing, which just leaves cooking and that don't take long at all.

My old job was mainly stay at home moms. The majority of the customers where white women. They’d get coffee and gossip about their marriages or something related.

It's up to her. I'm good either way. If she wants to work I'm all for extra money in the house. If she wants to be the stay at home type house better be clean, dinner every night, kids taken care of and bills paid on time. If I'm bringing the money in I'd expect her to take care of home. I would want her to have other interest too. Don't burn out on housewife duties.

I have no problem with my wife staying at home, and taking care of the kids, and keeping the house clean.

I have no problem providing for her. But if she wants the Chanel bags, expensive shoes, nails, etc, then she can work part time.

Basic clothes, fine. I’ll even pay for her car insurance, gas, and cell phone. I’ll pay for the kids’ clothes.

I think having a stay at home mom is beneficial to the kids, and I’d prefer someone be at home when they get home to make sure they do their homework, and get picked up from extra curricular activities. And I will INSIST my children have extra curricular activities, whether it’s sports, music, dance, etc.

I think too many black men are too focused on a woman using us, and less on the quality of their family. We are the only group who cares about our women’s career. And I know it’s difficult for any family to live on one income, but we’re not doing well at home.

Even with good resources, your home life is important..

That's true. I've seen the most "feminine" wives in my fam make a personality switch once they gotta leave the house and work for another man. But they also from the country. I think city women expect to be working while married but they also not as nurturing (in my opinion) from the jump....
