Per @Knuckles Red both are a social construct so that study is invalid and inaccurate.
I think the AA community defines masculinity as being seen as desirable by many women, having the traditional appearance of a "manly man", deep voice, beard, etc. It's expressed in a very performative manner. if a woman passes and you're with a group of other men, your eyes must be trained on her and you're expected to make comments on her body and what you'd like to do to her. You're supposed to have sex with multiple women and spread your seed because that's what men are 'wired' to do.
White and Asian men do that too, however, they are more prosperous economically than black men, collectively speaking.
American black men tend to want to be treated as patriarchs by our women, without providing as much as other patriarchies provide their women. How many of you on here have ever given a black woman, or a black person period, a job?...I have, but I'm very sure that I'm in the minority

Can't will your way out of white supremacy. Black Americans have had recession level unemployment rates since 1954 and only about 3% of black Americans even make 6 figures. Black men and women were/are discriminated against heavily in employment and in requests for loans. Also during this time period black women had a higher rate of marriage than white women until the 1970s.
But yeah, that's great that you're able to give black people jobs.
Things were always shytty whether black men were masculine or not, under any definition of masculinity.
