I read that racist white men don't like us because of our masculinity and when you factor in intelligence it's easy to see who the real dominant race is.
I like how ya'll skipped over this!
Genetically speaking: ABSOLUTELY
Socially speaking: COULDNT BE MORE WRONG.
Black men are looked at as the most effeminate males by other races of men. Naturally though, they are the most masculine..they were just socialized to become dependent, catty, and emotional.
What other race of men care so much about their woman's hair that they blow fuses when it's not done right?
You can, however, still find masculine black men but it's gonna be rough finding one that doesn't tie his manhood into his peepee.
I'm working off @InDePickWest's theory of social masculinity. That's why I quoted her.can you define what masculinity is?

I can define any word in the English language my friend. I own dictionaries.
Masculinity (also called boyhood, manliness, machismo, or manhood) is a set of attributes, behaviors and roles generally associated with boys and men. Masculinity is socially constructed, but made up of both socially-defined and biologically-created factors, distinct from the definition of the male biological sex.
Looks like she and I are headed in the right direction.
Skipped over what?
So? Why deny biology and genetics?
It's a spectrum, not an absolute.
Conquering other men/land is probably the most masculine thing you can do.
Folks in the thread bragging about us being more masculine than other men but don't see that these same theories are used to promote black women being less desirable. A scientist got in heart water a few years ago by implying that black women are genetically less beautiful because of testosterone
I don't see who you quoted . must have them on ignore .Folks in the thread bragging about us being more masculine than other men but don't see that these same theories are used to promote black women being less desirable. Ahhh, if this was what you were implying in your previous post then I partially agree. As the definition says, society defines masculinity, there are multiple societies, so each has a different definition of masculinity.this is a non-definition because it's not really saying anything of value, it doesn't get us any closer to a definition which should include the set of attributes, behaviors or roles associated with boys and men, there's no mention of the the socially-defined and biologically-created factors.

My question is: how is AA masculinity defined and expressed?

Less beautiful to whom? Black men been loving black women for eons.Folks in the thread bragging about us being more masculine than other men but don't see that these same theories are used to promote black women being less desirable. Lol welcome to the US of propaganda and double speak. Getting a satisfactory answer from the feds probably isn't going to happen. Social sciences are bias, IMO.that would also be my question, I've asked this multiple times in multiple threads and have yet to receive a satisfactory answer.
