Yes. Australian Aborigines consider themselves black. They even had a chapter of the Black Panthers out there. They looked up to the black liberation movements around the world.

And most important they were treated as black by white racists in Australia. They were called ******s and subjected to just as much racial abuse as any other black people around the world.

Australian Aborigines are 100% black.

Yes and no.

Basically....life started in Africa. East Africa. Then waves of humans left Africa in separate groups. One group went to the Middle East. Then from there, another group split off and went to India. Then from there a group split off and went further into Asia, the Pacific Islands and Southeast Asia. Then from there a group broke off and went north to the Beiring Strait, crossed it and came down into Alaska and the rest of the Americas. Then all the way back in the Middle East, another group splintered off from them and went west into the Caucus Mountains and later Europe to later become "Europeans". The Australian Aborigines are the group of people that ventured into Southeast Asia and created water rafts that carried them across the islands until they reached Australia. The climate and foods of Australia allowed them to keep their dark pigmentation which was similar to Africa and the people they left. Australia was also pretty remote and there was no outside gene flow to change their genetic makeup (i.e. mixing). But...there's like 50,000 years between them and their most recent African relative. Saying they're "Black" is like saying that my descendants and my brother's descendants are still siblings 50,00 years from now.

This is a waste of time. Blackness has nothing to do with genetics. Its based on phenotypes and the social context of the society you live in.

To say they are not black is comprable to saying African Americans are not black because they on average have about 20% European ancestry. Genetics is irrelevant. Race is totally nothing but a social construct. And socially they are part of the black race.

NO. Looks can be deceiving.

Genetically they are more connected to South East Asians like people in Micronesia, Melanesia, Paupau New Guinea, Fiji etc etc.

They aren't anymore connected to an Africans than someone from Norway is.

Black has nothing to do with genetics...it's a phenotype description...if you have dark skin and curly hair you are Black...


Black people of the Global South are of the Meleansian...literally mean dark skin person.


White people called us Black as a physical description...we just happen to come from Africa.

Aboriginals are called Black by White people and they just happen to be native to the Global South...


Blackness is the result of lighter people contrasting their features with darker people...

Has anyone here met one? If so, do they consider themselves black like Africans? Or different?

To get an idea of what it's like, if you watch Mystery Road on Netflix, those people have it bad man....it's like some NA reservations filled with poverty, prostitution, crime, and drugs. Whites call them black, even though some are light skinned.

Yes, the term c00n was actually intended for them. And white people tried to annihilate them, they wouldn't have done so if they weren't black.

Hmmmm. I thought that the designation of white and black people was based on their legal status which is why italians and the Irish were considered black despite their skin color.
