welcome to the world of comedy. Where no fukks are given.
:rudy: Yea, ok. Careers are shut down over jokes friend. Please dont act like everything is fair just because it comes out of a comedians mouth. They arent actors playing characters. They mean what they say and often times they mean to be demonic, friend.

I know people that have and none them have said "It's not a Slave movie" since the ENTIRE movie deals with Slavery. LOL @ you thinking a Black Director could say KIKE in a movie 109 times and not get ran out of Hollywood.

That's funny because I've seen the movie and it doesnt deal with slavery at all. Is slavery featured in it, yes. Is slavery the focal point like it is in roots, no. Is the slavery disrespectful, no. Django is nothing more then a spaghetti western that unlike other movies that uses the western era doesn't ignore or vaguely mention slavery.

Most comedians hate censorship. As long as they don't alienate their audience, they'll say anything. That's how you get Tracy Morgan joking about killing his gay son and Daniel Tosh making rape jokes. I got no problem with that.

no. actually. most of the time, they don't mean what they say. Tracey morgan made a joke about how if his son was gay he'd "stab that lil nikka". He was not being serious. The joke is on you and your insecurities.

These are foreign concepts to Mowgli. He's very simple and doesn't "get" much beyond the surface.

Also, comedians usually see the truth about the world before anyone else and are very progressive. You can go back and look at the genius social commentary the greatest comedians have made.

:mjpls: :mindblown: :deadrose: Why do you not have a problem with that? Im having unfathomable thoughts about fathoming rape humor and killing your son even if he is a demon. I guess we're cut from different cloths. Were you raised in Philadelphia?

As long as you don't alienate your audience.

Could you not see that no one was laughing at the joke?

Actually there were people laughing, but that's not why I posted the video. I only posted the video to show you what happens to careers when they say certain things. Michael Richards is still saying sorry and it's been 7 years. Seinfield DVD's drop in sales cause of that incident and he put a black eye on one of the greatest shows in history. I know she's a comedian but I don't agree with her making that statement.

They were laughing at him, not at his joke. And he didn't put a black eye on the show at all. By the time that incident happened Seinfeld was already in syndication (where the real money is), and still is in syndication.

it was clear that rant was not part of his act. You can tell the difference between a joke and angry vitriol. No one even remembers that incident except you. It certainly did not "put a black eye" on Seinfeld. Stop being so fukking silly.

No one gives a fukk what you agree with. Go cover your ears and eyes from the world then you p*ssy.

I don't really think Tracy would kill his son if he were gay and I don't think Daniel Tosh rapes women, or actually condones rape. I don't even find it funny, but that doesn't mean I think they shouldn't be allowed to say stuff like that. If they can sell the joke to an audience let them be.

I don't watch Saw movies or J-horror flicks because I don't like to see that kind of violence. I don't think it should be banned, however.
