basically Sony tried to deebo this movie into the MCU. Disney execs screened the original version and made them fall back because it was that bad. Marvel had no control over this movie. This isn’t an MCU film and it’s not in the MCU.
All Sony could do is scrap content from the previous 3 MCU Spider-Man movies and lump it into this.
