with its appearance on psnow, decided to give it a whirl, since people said it’s inspired by the arkham series. Sorry, but, nah. In the arkham series, rocksteady turned batman’s encounters into a ballet of beatdowns, while spiderman seems to have only adopted the sensing mechanic, ignoring the rhythmic component that made rocksteady’s franchise so addictive. The combat isn’t even hard, as I’ve adjusted to it enough, accepting that there is nothing graceful to its execution. It’s just not fun or intuitive. Also, the city isn’t nearly as fun to traverse as it looks in videos.

I’m usually a fan of Sony’s offerings, but this is not it, dog. It’s a poor man’s arkham clone.

It sucks...I couldn't get passed the first part...I went into the bank I think it was and then you start fighting outside...I turned that bytch off and deleted it.

Game is booty. The fighting gets old fast. It is such a boring, uninspired, lifeless open world you transverse. It turns into some BS collect-a-thon. It is up there with Witcher 3 in most overrated games of this gen.

It's a good game but not a great one. As for combat I had trouble getting on with it because I was playing it like Arkham. It's not Arkham. Gadgets and suit power selection give you a variety of ways to approach combat. I didn't realise this until I'd beaten the game.

But it's your opinion. If you ain't feeling it then you ain't getting it.

Played and eat it. It’s a 7/10 game at best. Running around stop the same 3-4 crime scenarios. Just nothing to do in the city. Game is weak and overrated. But you just be the fakkit you are and dikk ride it.
