Yes this can happen, due to similarities between the living and the deceased and transfered affection/grief but nothing in that scene implied anything of that nature though.

If my boy died today, even in 7 years I can't see myself going there with his widow/girl he left behind.

Nah.

Once Into the Spider-verse dropped, it leapfrogged all comic movies and nothing changed even when other ish released after it.

Endgame to No Way Home, all below ITSV and now ATSV.

What did NWH do other than show Peter as a selfish dumbass and then pad out the second half with fanservice from older movies?
