Into's fatherhood/brotherhood themes, the way the introduced the other universe's spiderman, and how special miles was and how he learned will be tough to replicate to me. I had maybe more fun with this one, but find "into" a better movie and it's quickly timeless

Far from home had one good fight and was a generic marvel movie otherwise. And homecoming had a great performance from Michael Keaton and I liked that high school version of Peter better than the og or asm versions.

No way home was a semi classic, idk what you're talking about regarding the script. And it had mad spiderman shyt, like the most ever actually.

Regarding Into vs across, well we just gonna disagree there. All 4 of the top of my list are A+ anyway :manny:

I see the argument that Into works better on its own, and that theres hardly anything in here on par with the Leap of Faith scene.

On the other hand I see how the first appears mad restrained in comparison to this and risks taken here are bold and enthralling.

I'll still say the first for now cos we see how influential its been and the cliffhanger is abrupt enough that Beyond feels needed, in comparison to like Dark Knight, Infinity War, Empire Strikes Back. We'll see how Beyond fares

:mjlol:Second one was too artsy, they tried too much this time around with the experimentation, I thought the first one was the perfect mix aesthetically. Also, Miles Morales Spiderman being able to outwit the entire spider roster was too much of a suspension of disbelief. Movie was decent , I don't know if I can say it's outright better than the first one though.

I'm flip flopping between No Way Home and Spiderman 2...I liked No Way Home more than most...Norman Osborne was probably the best villain performance in spiderman history.

Good list. I’ve soured on NWH a bit but will admit it’s still a top-tier Spidey production. Seeing MCU Pete so enraged at the end after spending the previous two films with him in such a happy-go-lucky state was :whew:. I was calling Watts’ directing-style vanilla all throughout the trilogy, but he ended up giving us:

1. The Dad Talk in Homecoming
2. Mysterio’s Illusion Sequence in FFH
3. The Condo Fight in NWH

Felt like I was reading the comics again in each of those scenes. Would preferably want someone new in the chair for the next trilogy, although I also wouldn’t hate it if he were to come back. Hopefully the writers can stay put as it feels like the best of Holland is yet to come.

  15. Eddie Brock asking God to kill Peter parker in church :mjlol: (S3)
  16. Doc oc street fight, S2
Man, Spidey is truly the GOAT

The cut from Miles & Gwen talking upside down at the bank to them eating at the rooftop cookout was too abrupt for me. Felt like they should have let us see Miles & Gwen showing up, especially since they found Miles gone and not in his room.
