I want to say the spider man council of ricks/reeds multiverse concept is just a gimmick. Once you start cranking out all these different variations of peter with a aestetic change between each of them it becomes silly. The Marvel multiverse should be a bit more nuanced in that

Yeah, the concept is fun but the citadel of Rick / counsel of Kang / council of reed concept has run it's course. I will say, unlike the others most of the spiderman started out in their own story/variant/history, and they're just together, rather than a pallate swap reed Richards create a player variant

Yessir that brought in the credits! Metro did really come through with this soundtrack. Vibes came through heavily, opening track where we meet up with Gwen I really liked too.

miguel has always been very angry and stressed out and not funny... I understood him fully... he understands the stakes so that's why he's acting all manic... he'll lighten up in part 3..

Naw he wasn’t but he has a fairly dark story

He was actaully supposed to be a return of “cool” spider-man in the 90s since they were kind of making peter story more serious

Wasn't Ben originally supposed to be the real Peter and not the clone?

Not like that. I always took him as just being more serious than 616 Peter.

SCJoe was a little off - Davis in the Spider-Man universe specifically was associated with crime in Brooklyn because Jeff and Aaron used to be in the streets when they were younger and got in a lot of trouble, so he took his wife's last name to run away from the stigma and didn't want Miles to have it either

That shyt is still silly. I don't know why Bendis didn't just make the father Latino and not the mother if he wanted to make Morales the last name so bad

10/10 movie.
Especially if you know your spiderman lore. It's almost impossible not to be, unless you white and feel some kinda way The way they legit pulled from just about all spiderman references

and reg spider punk was done so well. You actually kinda have to really be a spiderman nerd to pick up on it. Really well done

This movie is probably better than the Miles comic run since back when he joined the champion. I don't read it regularly but I try to keep up and the pretty much are trash.


Earth 42 could and should be used in the comics. It has a ton of potential
