That's true. cliffhangers are a staple in comic books...:pachaha: but these movie goers loved the movie and wanted a conclusion right then and there alot of them didnt even know this was filmed in two parts...:dead:
I was shocked too. I think it was around the time Gwen portaled to Peter I whispered "holy shyt they're gonna end it like this". But I really loved that. It brought back the nostalgia and excitement of waiting for the next part, which is something we don't get much of now.

time to rally for a animated MCU

like i was just thinking how much better the new mutants would have been animated

or maybe they'd finally get their billion dollar hulk solo film as a fire animated flick

That could be dope…. No more worrying about actors getting old

And Empire Strikes Back and LOTR Twin Towers. People act like some of the biggest movies have never ended on a cliffhanger. I also find it strange that comic book fans of all people are pissed about a cliffhanger. That’s how comics roll.

It's funny how a movie like Kill Bill was all shot at once but split into two films and people was fine about there being a cliffhanger. But people mad with this film having one despite doing the same thing.

Kill Bill came out in 2003. There wasn't anywhere near the internet presence as there is today.

And that's the thing. It wasn't a SECRET that this was supposed to be a cliffhanger. It's been known throughout the internet since the release of the teaser trailer. Yet people are still upset as if it wasn't expected.

It's weird. But when thinking about it, it's not so much the cliffhanger, but the fact there's no mid or after credit scene either. Because if we want to be TECHNICAL, all of those superhero movies are cliffhangers because of the mid/after-credit scene previewing what to expect in the next movie.
