That's a change they made for the movie. In the comics, he's from New York.

I mentioned this before in this thread, but I think they made that change as an nod to Hobie's IRL origin. When Oliver Coipel was creating the character design, he was originally creating a design for Spider-UK, but an editor at Marvel saw the design and thought it looked like a new York punk rocker.

given the influence and punk scene in London, it makes a lot of sense to give him that origin


im gonna peep more of his comics cause this movie sold me even more as a character.

If Miles universe has broken canon because he got bit by a spider and Parker died, why didn't his world get destroyed like that world Miguel had with kids?

Such a great movie. I have both of them at 6/6 infinity stones cant wait for the finale.

Only problem is if they want to change a single line in the script they can’t. But it’s so close to release date I don’t think that will be a problem

Even though I think Miguel is wrong, I think in his mind the fact tragedy was avoided causes the breakdown.

The original Miguel dying was supposed to be someone’s catalyst. 42-Miles uncle and father dying was supposed to be his catalyst except now it’s to be Prowler.

Blonde Peter was still a catalyst for Miles.


Indian Spider-Man not losing Captain Singh caused the hole to expand( even though I think we’ll find out it’s not true).

I slightly prefer 1, but you could make a legit argument for either one being better.

Jefferson Davis is his black American fathers name.

In this movie he is officer morales? I didn’t understand that.

Not one clap in the audience at the end. A lot of groans and moans. My son was and is still pissed. He gave it a 3/10 saying it's not a full movie. I loved it. I give it at least a 9/10.

My son feels the same bruh. He said they waited t years for an unfinished movie. I didn't even realized it had been 5 years.
