You’ll get story, but you’re missing an integral piece of this movie which is the artwork and fine details. shyt was a moving painting in certain parts.

I KNOW I KNOW.... im fukking kicking myself because the screener didnt do that animation any justice at all like a 4k blu ray or big screen could...... But im definitely gonna see it again regardless.... I'm feening for part 2 tho....
I just got back from seeing this and goddamn am I glad I saw this one in theaters; in the Cinemark XD specifically. I didn't see Into the Spider-Verse in theaters but I'm sure my mind woulda been blown watching Spider shyt unfold on the big screen like what I just witnessed.
Oh Miles, boy, the PAWGs, the PAWGs, are calling Sweetheart, half spic, half moolie. I'll sing one in a Puerto Rican accent.
I gotta say, as I've gotten a little older, I've grown to appreciate great editing and this film was no exception especially in the Gwen-focused prologue. Tremendous transitions.
I love how music was used for Gwen for her to focus and really let loose when it came time to spring into action. Reminded me of that great side mission in the Miles Morales game where Uncle Aaron has you collecting different sounds throughout the city to make a beat. And you eventually get the Prowler Spider-Man suit which was one of the illest in the game.
All the Spider-Man references and cameos were great. I had watched The Spectacular Spider-Man for the first time some months ago, so it was cool to see him pop up. Great payoff with Donald Glover's Prowler from Homecoming. Great seeing PS4 Spider-Man twice (Ganke was playing as him on his PlayStation).
I've for the So this reminded me a great deal of that show. You have Walter going into an alternate dimension to save his son and he ends up replacing his dead Peter with a new one. Miguel does the same thing, only with himself. In both instances, it has multiple universe breaking consequences.
The Miles
Prowler
at the end was masterfully done. Bravo.
When Uncle Aaron said he wasn't the Prowler, I said to myself, "oh s*** that means that universe's Miles is. And out he comes rocking some shyt that looked like this
Now, with the next film being Subtitled: Beyond the Spider-Verse, you know we getting Tom, Tobey and Andrew's Spider-Men. It's perfect since Peter 3 was like "we should do this again" before the climatic battle in No Way Home.
I gotta watch it again at a time when there's no kids in the theater. These little cacs would not stop coughing. I had to take a Zicam when I got home just to prepare for the inevitable cold I'm gonna get.
This should be a lock for another Best Animated Picture Oscar. I haven't seen Incredibles 2 but I'm putting this ahead of it off of GP. Matter fact, I'm saying right now Spider-Verse >>> Toy Story. If Into the Spider-Verse was A New Hope, then Across is Empire Strikes Back.
This shyt makes me wanna go beat Miles Morales for the fifth time.
Ending on a cliffhanger is not unusual, and I'm cool with cliffhangers. However every movie/story should at least have 3 acts and this one did a hard stop at the end of the 2nd act.
Ending aside, I still enjoyed the movie and I actually plan on seeing it again tonight
Did anyone else get a free poster when they saw it yesterday?
I understand that, it’s just they way the pacing of the movie went, I didn’t realize how much time went by. I never seen a movie pull the rug under my feet like that.
This is the BEST animated film i‘ve ever seen in my muthafukking LIFE! I enjoyed every minute, every second, every FRAME! Its literally a FLAWLESS movie! The voice acting was A1. The Animation was top notch. The writing was EXQUISITE. And brehs, when
Donald Glover popped up the entire theater started clapping!
Everything was handled perfectly. I legit would play to see this again. I cannot WAIT until March 2024
broooo WTF. This is the new Best Spider-Man movie ever. First of all, everything people said about the animation is right, the movie looks crazy.. but bro..
The character development here is Godly and they are managing a dozen characters or more and nobody is slighted.
The script is top notch, not just for animation but for all movies. They talk like real people, with real shyt going on in their lives. A lot of heartfelt moments.
