Yeah, I definitely agree with that. I would have loved movies like Black Panther and both Spider-Verse films as a kid.

They wouldn't have looked as good, though

honestly breh, Static means absolutely nothing to anyone older than 30. I hate to say it. I'm 39 and his cartoon wasn't good and the character was generic. Miles is 100x better in every way [though the comparison isn't very necessary].

John Stewart absolutely deserved the main event treatment though.

Imma keep it 100. Miles in the comics (at least until recently) was not as interesting as Static during its popularity.

And to take it a step further. I'd say SONY Miles is closer to Static from Static Shock (tv series) in terms of personality than what they had in the comics. in the comics those "Black Peter Parker" allegations had some merit.


Basically WB needs to stop fukking around and make something dope with Static. All it takes is a movie/series to change things. They could beat Sony/MCU to the punch if they put out a dope black teenaged superhero movie (live action) first.

Right, and there’s no other Miles Spiderman but there are thousands of Peter Parker Spiderman. Which leads me to believe all multiverse Miles are destined to be the Prowler and this Miles is the anomaly that Miguel thinks brings down the whole house.

At this point, unsure. We had ps4 Peter in there (in video game form as Ganke was playing it) so we don’t know if any of the video game Peters/Miles will show up in movie form.
