just left the movie.

To be fair and clear, @Uchiha God original statement was Across the Spider-Verse was one of his favorite movies of all time.
It's a false equivalency comparing (and dismissing) someone's ranking of a movie as their personal favorite to some broad declaring a movie is objectively the best movie of all time.
Penny Hardaway is my favorite NBA player of all time and 25 years later that hasn't changed... but that's not the same as saying Penny is objectively better than Jordan, Kareem, or Lebron.
I understand that distinction but what @Ziggiy and I were directly responding to was the assertion that a movie was the best of all time across the genres. I appreciate you emphasizing the original content for clarity but it had already branched off into another tangent.
I can't speak to @Neo The Resurrected ONE intentions.
No prob, i'm in agreement then; just wanted to make sure the tangent was decoupled from what originally prompted it.
Some of the audience that I was in the theater with got so heated about the ending, I wasn't bothered by it, because I knew there was going to be another one next year and it ended in a way that a comic book does which was cool. Honestly, if they stick the landing with āBeyond the Spider-Verseā it will be the greatest CBM trilogy of all time by a large margin for me.
Right, and thereās no other Miles Spiderman but there are thousands of Peter Parker Spiderman. Which leads me to believe all multiverse Miles are destined to be the Prowler and this Miles is the anomaly that Miguel thinks brings down the whole house.
Yeah there was, he supplanted the dead Miguel in the universe where his family was living without him and he jumped in there to apparently āaccidentallyā erase that universe.Thereās no other Miguels either tho.
was that Miguel Spider-Man tho? I don't remember if they mentioned it or not.Yeah there was, he supplanted the dead Miguel in the universe where his family was living without him and he jumped in there to apparently āaccidentallyā erase that universe.
We've only seen what 2099 has wanted to show us. Ol lying unreliable narrator assThereās no other Miguels either tho.
I hate how the natural reaction to fresh good content is to milk it dry until everyone is tired of itMiles is a household name now and the studios are gonna want to capitalize on that once this trilogy is over.
Honestly, why not at this point. Weāve already been through countless adaptations for Pete.
It's hard to believe that the studio that brought us Into the Spider-verse & Across the Spider-verse is also responsible for The Emoji Movie.
From his point of viewā¦.yeah. We donāt know if the Miguel killed in the universe he occupied was supposed to be a Spider-Man, he was gunned down in street clothes.was that Miguel Spider-Man tho? I don't remember if they mentioned it or not.
it would also suck if they have one of the best black superheroes in the last 20 years chasing bussy on the big screen like that
Miguel didnt say that no Miles was supposed to be Spiderman though, he said that OUR Miles wasnt supposed to be so there is still merit in his statement. Our Miles turned into Spiderman when he was likely supposed to become the Prowler. Prowler Miles was supposed to be the one that was Spiderman but had that chance taken by our Miles. Thatll probably be part of their battle. He'll blame Miles for his dad dying and not having the power to save him cause Miles had it. Then itll come to head when they team up cause Miguel gonna be on that "He was supposed to die" steez. Nice find though cause I missed these frames.when the Spot was giving his backstory in the start - we see the radioactive spider from earth 42 - still on earth 42 - and it was lurking around Miles
this was before it jumped to our Miles's universe. Now, one could argue that was just for dramatic effect or that it was going to ignore Miles - but seeing how deliberate this movie and it's predecessor have been with all their frames - I think the most likely explanation is that the spider was going to bite earth 42 Miles, thus he was going to be Spidey anyway. Not an anomaly. As previously stated - do not take Miguel at his word.
