can't wait brehs. Skyfall really has grown on me over time, I hope they can keep up that level of quality. Quantum of Solace was average as fukk

Skyfall is excellent..and to be fair, Bond flicks are hit and miss..Quantum of Solace being average isn't an issue for me because there are plenty of average bond flicks..plenty lol. It's rare you get a truly great one. Off the top of my head, for me anyway, there are probably 6 or 7 truly great films in the franchise. the rest are either good, average, or terrible

When I first saw skyfall I thought it was ok but didn't feel the same way I felt after first watching casino royale, but I've rewatched it quite often and I enjoy it a little more each time. The cinematography is incredible, when he's fighting that assassin in front of the LED sign, or when he's first entering Macau with the fireworks going off in the sky. Skyfall just wasn't as emotionally involving as Casino Royale, that was the only "problem" i had with it. the love story worked so well in casino royale that I wasn't as emotionally affected by skyfall.

Loved 'Skyfall', there were several very clunky elements though, from the badly dated 'hacker scenes' to some parts of the whole Parliament attack……however, the last 40 minutes or so resonated with me, unlike any Bond film, besides 'Casino Royale', and glimpses of 'Goldeneye'….The fog and gloom soaked English moors, brilliantly shot and captured as a backdrop for a stripped down, minimalist showdown….perfect Bond. I'd like this to follow a similar vein, and leave all the megalomaniacal nonsense in the past.

I THINK because I lost my mom, Skyfall definitely resonated with me emotionally since that's the obvious thing they were going for. It wasn't a love story but it was about this guy and his surrogate mother as he came to grips with his past and had to let go of her in order to fully grow up and be a "man"

Yeah no doubt but again, Bond movies don't have a high track record for consistency which as a Bond fan is something I readily acknowledge and accept:whoknows:
