GoT is titled that was for a reason, its about bigger shyt than action scene battles, its about what leads up to them and the bigger spectrum behind them. Sparty is what it is, about action sequences, green screens and sex. We lost a lot of piff dialouge when batiatus died. They r 2 seperate thingsa. Yall talk about the battles of GoT. Its all based off the persepctives of the books. The battles arent the arc of the stories, its the pre and post battles/results. Not unless someone brings out budget numbers, i think GoT has a bigger budget than sparty. Locations, story and production. Not to hate on my sparty, but green screen shyt with cheap cgi is cheap I love both but u are talking about a show completly based off a book and a show with a freedom of script.

To me the shows are about equal....GoT is at a disadvantage cause there's no way for the TV show to be as good as the books even tho they do a good ass job trying. Season 1 was about as good an adaptation you can ask for but season 2 already showed some cracks with the book being far superior. And I already know that there's no way season 3 will be able to live up to the third book which is prolly my fav novel period. I hate to sound like a book snob but facts are facts. I still enjoy the show for what it is tho

The author himself has talked about what his inspirations were and it was the Lord of the Rings and European warfare based around Britain and France. And I know you're a fukking dumbass, but it's obvious we were talking about the TV show and not the legend of Spartacus itself. There's nothing about Game of Thrones that resembles the legend of Spartacus you dumbass nikka. Just cause there's swords doesn't mean Spartacus inspired it, you jackass. Spartacus season 1 and the prequel were great... 2nd season was trash and this one is ok at best. Game of thrones is a masterpiece but the show only lives off how good season 1 is and the actual story.

Like I said, like 'Apples and Oranges'. You can't compare the 2 shows based on battle scenes. Spartacus is all about battle scenes, blood, guts, quotables and sex. GoT is based off a book that doesn't even go into that much detail on the specifics of every battle.

Breh, I think the gap between season 2 and 3 was the best time to read the books. But catchup on the books between season 3 and 4. By the time season 4 is done we should have the next book so it would workout good for you.
