Even reporters have been attacked ON CAMERA by Indian men.

Do their officials not care how their culture is viewed on the world stage? Cuz this is madness.

Oh they do but so much of that country isn’t modernized it’s impossible to police. A few posters mentioned they were camping so they were definitely outside of a metropolitan area, so good luck finding those dudes. Unless they get caught talking or a dumbass recorded it they ain’t getting caught.

Have been multiple times. Just like in the us people know where to and where not to go. I saw another thread looking down on people not leaving tourist areas. Thats BS. Stay in your lane. You would never send a tourist to the Southside of Chicago or Jordan Downs to experience the"real "culture". If you don't have peoples there,go with a guide. The idea that its nit worth visiting us just bologna. There are totally safe areas that are just as modern as anything here.
