Last time I checked, it's still some of the US best players vs ALL of the opposing countries best players.

I know globally the gap has shortened but come on man....this sounds like other countries were complaining to FIBA
Basically. ALL of these teams can’t roll out 12 roster spots of NBA all stars. The US national team can.

Spain won the Eurobasket starting Lorenzo Brown an American career D-leaguer at PG.:mjlol:

France and Canada can, and several other teams can put together a full rotation of NBA players

The USA loses games every single year and pretty much any tournament they play in. The Finals are always close and they barely ever win the world championship

The years of being dumb enough to think any 12 NBA guys are gonna win a FIBA tourney are long over

FIBA saw this shyt and immediately downgraded USA from the top spot :manny:

As bad as ppl say the officiating is internationally, they definitely don't allow that traveling bullshyt.

In the NBA, you can take 5 steps and these coli clowns would be like "good move":myman:

I just use nba 2k as a reference. I can make so many good teams without even using the international players, who I admit, make up half the top 10 players in the NBA.

As mentioned, some of these international teams have U.S. players starting for them that couldn't cut it in the NBA.

Dallas signed one before the season and his ass might be goin back to Greece soon.

There is so much damn talent in the United states

I said ALLSTARS :mjlol: Canada can’t even qualify for the Olympic. When the US brings its best it wins period. Nobody cares about FIBA America or whatever you trying to claim.

Breh was the 2nd leading scorer in the Eurobasket final and don’t speak a lick of Spanish :heh:

“Can you speak any Spanish?”

“Umm I learned a lot but I just can’t put it together right now. Definitely gonna study though”

dude on first page said people will blame players desire etc
fact of the matter is... thats what it is ... nikkas rather be on reality tv and in oldsmobile commercials than play serious
as soon as they send invites out cats gracefully bow out ... or get there... dont mess with it and fake an injury to leave

there's only so many times you can try to get your shyt together after the moment starts

Fiba allows cheating.

Spain used American to win Eurobasket. And he was supposed to win mvp of tournament but they gave it to Hernangomez.

Let's give Embiid a spot in team USA and see how they feel :mjlol:

No the world hasn’t caught up. People act like the nba sends their best talent. Most of the top guys don’t want to play in these tournaments.

The teams are out together in a few weeks and even then guys back out at the last minute. Gina isn’t taken seriously and we still win the gold every year.

The reason you don’t see the huge blowout is due to the fact that we are winging it every year there is no real chemistry and no real thought out into a game plan. These countries give their best effort and we do just enough to not get fired lol

Nobody cares about FIBA rankings. They are more trash than FIFA rankings.

Americans only care about Olympic gold and kind of care about the World Championships.

Rest of the world has gotten better, yes, they don't run everybody off the court anymore and sometimes don't go undefeated every time ... but they've won a medal in every Olympics and have never gone 2 straight Olympics without a gold medal.

When they break both streaks is when I'll believe it.

America laughs and keeps being complacent as the rest of the world continues to improve.

The USA remains the favorite, but the gap keeps on shrinking.

If and when America does lose on the global stage again, rather than acknowledge the need to retool and adapt, the country will almost certainly just blame their losing players and their "character flaws" or "desire".

But whatever. In many ways this is something to be celebrated. The NBA has made global expansion of the game a priority for 35 years. It can't act surprised or disappointed when the rest of the globe embraces and becomes a worthy adversary.
The biggest problem team USA has is getting their best players to show up for international competition. There is no gap, yall parrot this shyt every 2-4 years. The world has already “caught up”
