the EAC is an actual organization not a geographic area http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_African_Community

2. recognizing a country is an alliance? again are you retarded? and there is nothing wrong with having friendly relations with isreal and the US for strategic and economic reasons

1. Kenyans speak Swahili first...English 2nd, same with Tanzanians. Burundi shouldn't even be on the list homie. :stopitslime:
East Africa also includes....Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia and
Madagascar, Mozambique don't speak English as their official language.

2. Yet the allies of Africa aren't important. Keep your capitalist mind-set away from Africa b.

The EAC is a trade and political grouping like ECOWAS and SADC for West and Southern Africa respectively. The designation of East African in the US context is usually reserved for the horn of Africa but the grouping is associated with Kenya,TZ and Uganda. Madagscar and Mozambique are all in the Southern African region. Mozambqiue aligns with Southern Africa culturally and politically. Africans are mostly multi-lingual and European languages tend to be the business language even in the presence of some common languages like Swahili and Lingala.

1. I think you are confused, the East Africa Community is an organization, its not a geographic area, the EAC has specific members the members are Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda, you can read more about it here here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_African_Community
The East African Community (EAC) is an intergovernmental organisation comprising five countries in the African Great Lakes region in eastern Africa: Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda
the official languages of all those countries except for Burundi is english

2. i dont even know what the first part means, but capitalism (free trade, private property and economic freedom) is the mentality that is driving the EAC, capitalism is already in africa and its growing and SS is doing the right thing by aligning itself with the EAC countries

According to you everything I say is the same or the opposite. Apparently your comprehension is off. No one said anything about tribal beefs and tribal wars which as old as the ground we step on, but to assume outside influence doesn't exist is naive. Since the times of the Europeans making the divide and conquer plan in Africa to split up groups, beefing tribes fight it out, it's always about the agenda at hand. This is why S.S. didn't go Black African with their deals and allies in the creation of their state. Their first alliance was with the U.S. and Israel, not any African Nation. When it went to infrastructure, oil and other resources, it wasn't about building with other African Nations but with European Businesses. Their nation language is English for crying out loud. All of them were signs of outside Influence in the creation of this state. Period. I have sources and facts. You have your opinion.

I have a hard time trusting anyone who wears a cowboy hat....

Somehow a Dinka wearing a cowboy hat goes over the head of some people in this thread that say that there is no Western influence involved

You didn't prove anything. With a few sources and a whole bunch of "That's not true", you didnt show anything of the such.
1. Does West means U.S. to you? Last time I check the West is European included. They did. Where is your update on the cancellation of the contract?
2.. First Alliance was with Israel as it has been proven the flags waving the day of the independence.
3. I've been to a few African countries for trips and business....Most Africans who spoke English did it for business but the locals and the majority don't speak English but of the ethnic dialect. It's pretty sad when you are claiming these countries speak the language through-out the land when that isn't even true at all. Have you heard some of the EAC's speak english? It's not even good.
