Gut and skin problems start here, when it comes to American lunch
Cuz them no good, undeserving, hand-out wanting minorities might get some benefit, so no one gets anything goodPeople in America actively vote against providing kids food in schools
I send both my girls to school daily with a bag lunch. You can get some decent organic stuff from Costco at a reasonable price and make it. It’ll be mikes ahead in quality and nutrition then wha the schools are serving.Resources at some schools be like night and day. I went to a brand spanking new middle school/ Jr. High and this was the early 90s and the school had food stations like a buffet.
Pizza/Pasta station
Burritos/ Taco station and other Mexican food
Hamburger/ hot dogs
Main meal station with every thing
A Salad station
And a dessert bar.
Then we moved to another district once I got to high school and I then went to the hood school and it was just one line and the same food for everyone. But it was real food though and they were really preparing it. Lots of schools now don't even have cafeterias and bring the food in from off site and the do the bare minimum. I just prepare my daughter a daily lunch everyday.
Pretty much exactly what I do.I send both my girls to school daily with a bag lunch. You can get some decent organic stuff from Costco at a reasonable price and make it. It’ll be mikes ahead in quality and nutrition then wha the schools are serving.
Not every school has the same lunches, even in the same school districts.
