Sources: There's fear Lakers star LeBron James is likely to miss an extended period of time with his right foot injury. Might miss several weeks

He said these were the most important regular season games of his career and now he's gonna miss them. Does that make the King...

...a bust? :jbhmm:

Six weeks left in the season AD and the supporting cast should be able to hold it down for 2-3 weeks.
This supporting cast is definitely the best since that Schroeder year where they were able to skate by during the season with LeBron out but everyone is battling in the West at this time of the year, you are gonna get their best shot. Hopefully they can hold it down but I don't have any expectations going in. I cant guarantee any wins till the Houston game.

lestans having a meltdown

it must be a day ending in y

Some people are just posting rationally in the thread, and others ran in with ridiculous narratives. Which was which?

And talking of posting emotionally on a daily basis....

Yes.. your an emotional moron who literally switches narratives by the possession.
That you so emotional over a game when there's 24 minutes left and we're still winning with LeBron being "trash".

Calm yo ass down
Calm down you emotional female lol. You do this literally every damn game, calm the hell down
@CantStop why are you posting so emotional every game? :laff:
would I be me if I didn't post like that

y'all gotta take the good with the bad
:russ: At least you are self aware and know it's who you are when posting like that...

real question..do you really watch games and have those real life emotional highs and lows?

That's just from the last two games alone. :dead:

Had the same thing happen to me playing ball in a mens league a few years ago. Luckily the next game was a default and bye week after. Took me forever to get an MRI too. Lebron has damn near 100lbs on me though so I'm not sure how that will affect his ability to play through it. The biggest issue I had afterwards was fluid build up and it feeling like you had to crack your knuckles only in your foot.

It would’ve been a lot of work for what? To lose in the 1st round

Maybe lebron saw what he’d need to face even IF they made playoffs

He’s getting old

He always wanted the easy route since Miami and even now more than ever

What does he need to face? No one in the West looks invincible right now. Warriors and Suns still have their main guys out, Clippers and Mavs have big gaps in defense and the frontcourt, Kings and Grizzlies are too young and haven't made a postseason run yet, and Denver has a hot offense but a very exploitable defense. If AD and LBJ could be at 100% with their supporting cast clicking, they're as good as any of them.

Best teams continue to be Celtics and Bucks, and only one of them can come out of the East. Then in the Finals anything can happen.

The Lakers are 4-1 since the trade deadline you are crazy if you think he would not have made the playoffs.
They're the 12th seed. And they just haven't been able to go on a serious winning streak. Even though the bottom teams are within 2 games of each other. You gotta hope that these other teams fold and start losing. I just don't see it happening

Just look at them breh.

Thunder are already behind the Lakers, Shai is out and the team just isn't that good.
Blazers are just 1/2 a game ahead of LA, can't seem to get anything going
Pelicans are just 1/2 a game ahead of LA, have no Zion and are on a 4-game losing streak
Timberwolves are just 1 game ahead of LA, had a terrible trade deadline and are on a 3-game losing streak

Just passing up those 4 squads alone would not be that hard, and that already by itself would get the Lakers to the 9-seed. You seriously think that's unrealistic at all? You're saying a Lakers team that was looking better than it had all year wouldn't be able to make up ONE GAME on a crew of mediocre squads that aren't doing jack shyt.

And even past that:

Utah is 1.5 games ahead of LA and has just been treading water since forever
Warriors are 2 games ahead of LA and have been treading water without Steph

Passing up those two would get the Lakers to the 7-seed. If Bron was playing that's not at all unrealistic considering how much better LA was looking compared to earlier in the year.

Past that the Mavs are 2.5 games ahead of LA, the Clippers are 3 games ahead, and the Suns are 3.5 games ahead. It'll be tougher to pass them, but not impossible. If even one of those three squads plays .500 ball the rest of the way (as they have been for the last 10 games), the Los Angeles could have passed them with a 14-7 finish.

Before Bron got hurt, reaching the 5 or 6 seed was completely realistic. If he's gonna miss 2-3 weeks then I think something around the 7-9 seed is probably a surer bet, so long as AD can step up and Ham's rotations are competent.

Literally everyone you quoted in that is a Lebron Stan. Including yourself. Do you even post anything Lakers related or do you just follow a man from team to team?

Breh you already admitted you post emotional and have meltdowns on the regular, don't try to juelz out of it now. :laff:

y'all so fukking corny with this shyt.

we always lose these games. always
isn't it telling that u can already predict a loss anytime this team faces a top 10-15 player

what does that say about our supposed superstars?
this is portland game all over again

our 2 "superstars" nowhere to be seen

well AD kinda showed up

Bron rather be in the club drinking lobos
y'all will do anything but put the onus on Bron

it's fukking hilarious

dude has been getting cooked in every superstar matchup this season but yea let's blame everyone else
honestly the only thing im looking forward to this season is the pelicans losing. this season is cooked. bron and ad are never the best players during superstar matchups. only good thing to come out this season is if we get a lotto pick from the pelicans swap
if you're rob and jeanie, how do you not look at trading Bron and AD? they're good enough to help u beat the mid teams. but look at our record against elite teams. there's a reason for that. they haven't elevated in those games. it's not even worth the headache.

That's just from the last game. That's how you post in a WIN. It's even worse when LA loses.

You’re so disingenuous that you didn’t even post the one right after where I said I don’t even care if we win or lose and the only game that bothered me was the Celtics loss for obvious reasons(rivals). Something u wouldn’t understand because your entire life has been centered around following another man so the only rival you have are posts under 500 words :mjlol:

Dont bet on it. Needed a huge comeback just to get the W yesterday

Different way to look at it is that Dallas hit 20 threes, the Lakers had their worst shooting game of the season, Bron was playing hurt and limited, and they STILL beat a top-5 West team on the road.

There's at least 16 games on the schedule that should be easier than Dallas on the road.

6 non-playoff teams (2 Bulls, 2 Rockets, Raptors, Magic)
4 mid teams at home (Thunder, Timberwolves, Warriors with no Steph, Jazz)
4 mid teams on the road (Thunder, Pelicans, Timberwolves, Jazz)

That's 14 very winnable games ahead of them. If they were clicking, let's say they go 11-3 or 12-2 in those games.

Then they have Dallas and New York at home, both of which they have a better chance then Dallas on the road. Two home games against Phoenix, the second one is in the next-to-last game of the season so Phoenix might already be resting for the postseason depending on seeding. A game against the Clippers, and two against Memphis.

Let's say they split the Dallas/New York games, beat Phoenix resting, and then steal just one of the other 4 games. So that's 3-4 in those games.

That would be LA finishing 14-7 or 15-6 to finish the year. If they had had Bron that wouldn't have been unrealistic at all. They wouldn't even need to get "hot", they just would need to play decent considering the current roster. And it probably would have been good enough for the 6 or 7 seed.

I only posted about 20 words in that one, the rest of it was your emotional words. :umad:

You're a Canadian posting emotionally about an American sports rivalry because your favorite team has a player on it you despise. Don't try to slip out now and act like you look like anything more than a full goof.
