Sources: There's fear Lakers star LeBron James is likely to miss an extended period of time with his right foot injury. Might miss several weeks

Dont bet on it. Needed a huge comeback just to get the W yesterday

It all depends on whether D-Lo comes back and AD steps up. Rui and D-lo can replace some of Bron's scoring, Vandy and AD can hold the defense together, and AD showed in November/December that he's still capable of superstar level play. This Lakers' roster could potentially win half or more of their games without Bron if they just put it all together.

I agree but the problem is Darvin Ham. Without Lebron he will over play the wrong guys.

He will give Troy Brown Jr way too many minutes and play Lonnie as well.

Like people are saying he needs to go big and start Mo Bamba or start Rui.

D-Lo
Beasley
Vandy
Rui
AD

Ride the hell out of Vandy for 38-40 minutes a game with Gabriel to spell him occasionally, give Schroeder and Reaves a lot of minutes off the bench, and let Bamba get his 20 minutes/6 fouls each game.

It's not like they don't have reasonable options, there's no reason to fukk this up. But you're right about Ham doing odd things with the rotations this year.

Yep AD and Ham have zero excuses, it's basically the 2022 Timberwolves starting lineup with Rui and AD for Kat and Edwards.

If healthy the Lakers should still win 70% of their remaining games.

HE & AD HAVE MISSED
SERIOUS TIME EVERY YR
WITH THE LAKERS OUTSIDE
OF THE BUBBLE YR WHERE
THEY HAD A 4 MONTH BREAK
AND DIDNT HAVE TO TRAVEL.

RESULTS HAVE BEEN
2 LOTTERY SEASONS
1 1ST RD EXIT
AND RIGHT NOW A 12TH SEED.

ASTERISK TITLE

The Lakers were the only team who had a 4 month break that year while every other team went straight to Orlando to finish out the season :ohhh:

Well since my thread got deleted IMMEDIATELY :mjlol:

I just wanna say this injury (assuming it’s not THAT bad) is a blessing in disguise and comes at a convenient time

It gives Lebron a way out of literally fighting for his life to make playoffs in the west

And it makes him free from blame for not making the post season or any of the Lakers disappointing season which will always be put on Westbrook, AD injuries and Ham coaching

It’s a win for Lebron... not necessarily Lakers fans considering they are even less likely to make playoffs without him

The Lakers are 4-1 since the trade deadline you are crazy if you think he would not have made the playoffs.
