Because this dude Naruto cared more about simping and being a general fukkboy than he ever did about his village... (and there's never any clarity as to why he gave a fukk about the village in the first place. at least goku can say he protects earth by simply staking out and entertaining the best fighters in the universe there)

out of all the protags who house some incredible power unbeknownst to them, he handles it the worst. he's supposed to be the hardest working gump to get where he wants to go BUT his bullshyt handout power is so amazing that NONE of the training does outweighs the fact if he wasn't such a deliberate dumbass he'd be able to use it for free. Whatever training Naruto used to get better never outweighed sheer number of natural gifts. And its worst because Naruto never even realizes how bullshyt his perspective of hard work > born ability is himself.

Not only that, but Naruto's whole basis for being shunned is backwards as fukk.

The village hates him initially for the monster potentially inside of him but the more and more Naruto uses the damn thing - people are more concerned for him, than the thing that's able to kill them all might want to actually sift through all that shyt. You don't see Saiyans wishing for their tails back or Hollowfied Soul Reapers just chilling with the rest of the captains like shyt is all good...

I never rated Naruto and as I grew older being exposed to DBS Goku lost his luster with me, due to poor writing. I'd say Gon is a better hero than all three, even though practically he isn't a Hero he's just doing what he does...? I'd even say that Giorno and Orga Itsuka are better heroes.

These writers are phoning shyt in, they should just finish the damn series or do hiatuses it saves them from making the main character a habit or a court jester, though doing that will depend on the editors, however, the writers probably realized that they can get away with doing things like that due to the loyal fanbase getting amazed of minor events. I'd say Issei from High School DXD is way worse than Ichigo.

The entirety of Naruto as a story and character is hypocritical af. @42monks is right.

His character in Boruto is shyt too. So the bullshyt in part 1 is that Naruto is lonely, never had a family and as such is very protective of the new bonds he makes........so when he has his own family he treats them like shyt, makes hinata do all the work and sends clones to spend time with them. It aint like he doing shyt but busywork as the hokage since Shikamaru does all the work. If he gave any fukks about his family he'd send the clones to do all the busy work and raise his damn family.


Even in the fukking movie, Sasuke of all aint shyt terribly written characters raises Naruto's son. The "lesson" Boruto learns at the end is that his dad saved the world so I guess I shouldn't ask him for shyt.
