From a Character standpoint.
His coming of age tale had a great overall arc of redemption and running with the second chance he'd been given, and didn't require him to be shat upon for most of the show's run for another character (Naruto) or marginalize the other main characters to the point of them being completely useless without him (Goku) and allowed him to go from Juvenile Delinquent to being a respectable Man of Code at the end.
He develop interpersonal relationships with the rest of the main cast - which is comprised of friends and former former enemies - that weren't borderline obsessive or straight up bullshyt that would never happen in the real world (Naruto) or just based on having a good fight that put the rest of his universe at the mercy of a genocidal tyrant (Goku).
He even had the romance part down pat. He had a realistic relationship with Keiko that felt genuine as fukk, and didn't involve a last minute revelation about how he feels about her after thirsting after the worst character in the show or him marrying her out of pity to keep a promise he didn't understand at the time.
Let us have a discussion, brehs.
Yusuke better? Or y'all still walking with Goku and one of his many children he doesn't take care of?
